does no one understand the meaning of A clockwork orange? It’s a commentary on youth and society. The book finishes with alex finally understanding the ludicrousness of his behavior and growing out of his old ways. It’s him realizing that he needs to corrects his ways without society conditioning him against hostility and taking away his freedom of choice to be good. “Goodness is something to be chosen. When a man cannot choose he ceases to be a man.”
@Seriously…. The child is dressed up as a fictional Character who happened to be a rapist among many other things. Maybe if the kid was dressed as Kevin Coe I would be worried.
This was my halloween costume last year…I wish I’d thought of this for my 6 year old, though. A little creepy/tacky, but it’s a fantastic book and a great Kubrick film. Just not for the ultra-conservative, bleeding heart, or easily offended!
I dunno, I see this as his first win… even if he doesn’t know of or understand the movie.

Super cool kid can never fail.

Since the milk is a valid part of the costume, I give this a double win.
